Through fellowship with the Lord, He revealed that God’s timing is perfect and purposeful. Specifically highlighting “purposeful“. This was revealed when I was reading John 11 which is titled “The Death and Resurrection of Lazarus” in the Amplified Bible.
This whole chapter is rich with revelation and hope, but for the purpose of this post I will try to stay on track. John 11:17 says “So when Jesus arrived, He found that Lazarus had already been in the tomb four days.” In the Amplified Bible there is a little info icon with some more context, which says “Jesus purposefully stayed away for four days after Lazarus’ death. The Jews believed the soul hovered around the body for three days during which there was still hope after four days all hope was gone.“
But why? Why would God tell Jesus to wait four days after Lazarus’ death? Jesus tells us in John 11:4 which says “When Jesus heard this, He said, “This sickness will not end in death; but [on the contrary it is] for the glory and honor of God, so that the Son of God may be glorified by it.”“.
There we have it, God’s timing is perfect and purposeful because it is for the glory and honor of God, so that the Son of God may be glorified by it.

I have good news! There is a package at your door! It has been addressed to you! Within it contains an inheritance that surpasses any treasure that this world can give you. In fact, this package was placed at your door over 1,990 years ago because of what Jesus of Nazareth accomplished on the cross.
He sacrificed himself for the worlds sins, His sacrifice was for your sins, but that not all! He not only died for you, but he died as you. Jesus took your old nature, your sin nature with Him to the grave and on the third day God raised Christ Jesus from the dead. Jesus left your old self in the grave and came back with a new nature for you.
This is your inheritance, this is what’s in your package, a new nature for you! A nature that empowers you to sin no more because you have been freed from the bondage of sin and death through Christ Jesus.
The only response asked of you, is to simply agree with what Jesus accomplished on the cross, acknowledge that the package is addressed to you. Believe that the name on the package is your name because of the love of Abba, Father. Receive the Kingdom of Heaven.
